  • Group B (Law, Nursing, Mass Communication, etc.): ₹510/month for hostellers, ₹335/month for day scholars.

How to Apply?

The application process is entirely online via the National Scholarship Portal (NSP). Follow these steps:

  1. Register on scholarships.gov.in and create an Application ID.
  2. Fill out the application form and upload required documents, including income certificate and academic records.
  3. Submit the application and track the status on the NSP portal.

Documents Required

  1. One copy of the application for the scholarship in the prescribed form (a separate application form may be prescribed by the concerned State Government/UT for a ‘fresh’ and ‘renewal’ scholarship).
  2. One copy of the passport-size photograph with signatures of the student thereon (for fresh scholarship)
  3. One attested copy of each of the certificates/diplomas/degrees etc., with respect of all examinations passed
  4. A certificate (in original) of income issued by an authorized Revenue Officer, not below the rank of Tehsildar.
  5. A receipt in acknowledgement of the scholarship in the previous year on the form attached to the application only duly countersigned by the Head of the Institution concerned, if the applicant was in receipt of a scholarship under this Scheme in the preceding year.

Important Notes

Students receiving other scholarships are not eligible for this scheme.

Only two boys per family can avail of the scholarship (no such limit for girls).

Scholarships are not applicable for aviation courses like Commercial Pilot License (CPL).
